PT. Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk, ( MPI) was founded in Jakarta at 20 October 1952 under the name of NV Perusahaan Dagang SOEDARPO CORPORATION. In the year of 2000 NVPD Soedarpo Corporation has its name to PT MPI. Currently the major shareholder is a strategic investor from Malaysia that is Pharmaniaga Bhd. MPI is an independent listed company. With its strength of distribution network in 29 branches, 3 central warehouse, 5 station sales spread in all over Indonesia and supporting with experienced human resource in pharmaceutical field, MPI commit to become a distribution company which give best service to all of its customers and principals.
With reliable service quality and experience in pharmaceutical industry, both national and multinational principals entrust their products distributed by MPI which consists of pharmaceutical products, food supplements, and diagnostics/medical devices. The products are distributed to various channel of distribution such drug store, pharmacy, hospital, supermarket and retail shop. MPI continually strives its service to both principals and customers among others by establishing regulatory affair division which provide consulting service related to the registration to the principals.
To support the company’s commitment, in 2008-2009 the company has invested a huge of money in Information Technology by application replacement with Oracle-EBS with real time online with all branches and Head Office. In the future the Information technology strategy is aimed to give more value added to the customers and principals in accordance with the company vision.

Brief History of the Company
The company was established in October 20th, 1952 by Mr. Soedarpo Sastrosatomo and Mrs. Minarsih Soedarpo Sastrosatomo Wiranatakusumah under the name N.V. Perusahaan Dagang SOEDARPO CORPORATION
The name change from N.V. Perusahaan Dagang Soedarpo Corporation into PT NVPD Soedarpo Corporation Tbk was made in accordance with the notarial deed No. 182 dated February 21st, 1990, drawn by Notary Raharti Sudjardjati, S.H., in Jakarta.
Based on the approval letter No. SI-090/SHM/MK.10/1990 dated March 22nd, 1990 from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, the Company was listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchanges on May 7th, 1990.
In 2004, a Malaysian Company, Pharmaniaga Bhd acquired a strategic stake of 55%, making Pharmaniaga Bhd the major shareholder in PT. Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk.
PT. Millennium pharmacon International Tbk is the biggest independent, national, public listed distributor of pharmaceutical products, food supplements and diagnostic products. It operates with 29 branch offices, 5 sub distributors, 3 pooling warehouses and 15 sales stations throughout Indonesia. The Company uses Oracle-EBS as it’s IT backbone in managing its backroom operations with real-time data processing thereby allowing access to immediate and accurate information.
The Company serves principals comprising both local and multinational companies. Their products are distributed to pharmacies, hospitals and drugstores nationwide.

In the framework of competency development, company has given many chances to all employees through training program and assignments. Training program was given to the employees who need to enhance their competency which support his job and company performance. For example training for Oracle implementation for all staffs and supervisors who are involved in the implementation of Oracle in Head Quarter, Pooling Warehouse and branches. Training in Leadership and sales improvement was given to the branch managers. In the Head Quarter, Managers and Directors was given chance to attend seminar on strategic leadership. Besides, for human resource development, the company has given chances to all potential employees to get job enlargement and even new assignment in the form of promotion and movement.
